Abigail Mikami is a photographer based in New York City currently pursuing a BFA in Photography and Video at the School of Visual Arts. In 2023 she was part of the department’s show Becoming. Her work primarily focuses on the natural world and exploring humans’ relationship with it. By fragmenting spaces into multiple images and collaging them togeher in hanging mobiles, Mikami invites viewers to enter into the spaces she captures.
